Our Story
Founded in 1999 by Scott Deering, Liberty Builders has been a trusted part of the Lake Country community for decades. Over the past 26 years, the company has built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, strong client relationships, and a deep commitment to the community.
In 2024, Liberty Builders entered a new chapter when Eric and Tamara White purchased the company with the goal of continuing—and building upon—the same mission that has defined it for decades. As Greene County residents, they are proud to live, work, and raise their family here. They are a family-owned and operated business, with their son-in-law, Nick Falco, serving as General Manager and General Contractor.
Having built and renovated several of their own homes, Eric and Tamara understand first-hand the emotions, decisions, and excitement that come with creating a space you love. That insight shapes their approach, which prioritizes clear communication, transparency, and personalized service—guiding clients from concept to completion with the same care they would give their own home.
Every home they build and every renovation they complete is a piece of their own story, woven into the community where they live, work, and raise their family. For them, building isn’t just a profession, it’s a privilege. A retired public school educator, Tamara White has always had a passion for home improvement and design, finding joy in creating beautiful spaces and helping people bring their visions to life. Today, she channels that lifelong dream into guiding clients through one of the most meaningful investments of their lives. As CFO, Tamara oversees all company finances with a focus on transparency, accuracy, and open communication, ensuring clients always know exactly where their investment is going. She and her husband, Eric, have two grown daughters, an accomplished son-in-law who serves as Liberty Builders’ General Manager and General Contractor, and two wonderful grandchildren who inspire everything they do.
Tamara White
Co-Owner & CFO
A Georgia native and University of Georgia graduate, Nick Falco brings a wealth of experience and leadership to Liberty Builders. The former owner of a respected construction company specializing in kitchen remodels and additions in Morgan County, Nick also has extensive experience as a project manager in both commercial and residential construction. Since 2019, he has called Madison home, where he is deeply involved in the community, including serving as a volunteer firefighter for the City of Madison. As Liberty Builders’ General Manager and General Contractor, Nick oversees every aspect of the building process—from planning and coordination to quality control—ensuring each project is driven by quality, expertise, and a dedication to excellence. He and his wife, Sydney, are proud parents to two beautiful children.

With over 20 years of construction experience and a background as a U.S. Marine Corps Infantry Veteran, Julian Thigpin brings leadership, precision, and dedication to every project. Julian is a south Georgia native where he led a successful former construction company. He is also a certified Georgia Home Inspector, so he ensures each home meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship. Julian’s self-driven approach, attention to detail, and commitment to building strong client and team relationships make him an invaluable part of the Liberty Builders family. He and his wife, Ashley, are proud parents to two sons, both currently attending college.
